Deviation Actions
I come from the Gatineau region, but originate from Czech Republic. I came to Canada at the age of four, along with my mother and our two suitcases. Having learned early to fend for myself and discover new hobbies, never I would of thought that painting would take such an important place in my life. Not being convinced of this activity suggested by my girlfriend, I decided to try it anyways. The result: "Yeah, not bad!" My first reaction was to return to the store to buy some new canvases because my head was steaming with new ideas. Gradually, I discovered new techniques, trying to create special effects and developed my artistic side while vandalising the entire house looking for items that can be used to paint. Goodbye kitchen spatulas, construction tape, tupperwares... and hair dryer accessories!
Although my entourage loved my designs, I wanted to check with a more diverse audience. Not that my family is not credible, but a mother is a mother, if you know what I mean! I must admit that the critics were quite good, which encouraged me to continue.
In short, all this was written for you to get to know me more. I am persistent and listen to suggestions. Criticism does not scare me, it actually helps me grow and surpass myself. Since then, I expose my paintings on the internet, in restaurants, clinics and soon, in art galleries! Who knows? I hope you appreciate my art and hope it will give you as much pleasure viewing them as I have enjoyed creating them!
